Question
I have a share certificate. #7262, for Hutchison Lake Gold
Mines Ltd. Value is 1000 shares  dated June 13, 1939.
Stock was transfered to my father, June 14, 1939 by Doherty
Roadhouse & Co. Value at that time was $1.00/share.  Is there any value today? This mine was started, a shaft was sunk but don't if it became operational. It was in the Longlac area of northern ontario.
Tks in advance

Ron

Answer
Ron, I don't have any information on the stock, which is not surprising considering the age. Unfortunately, most companies of that type did not survive the shortages and labor limitations of WWII.

Considering the age of the certificate, I think your best approach is to take the certificate to a broker and ask them to perform a more detailed search for you.
