Canadian Stocks - 1957-Old stock

Question
Hi Mr. Taylor,
My mom passed away and I found some old stock certificates.
The company name is Cable Mines and Oil Limited- from 1957.
Written on the certificates is-(no personal liability and not subject to call) Incorporated under the Quebec Mining Companies Act.
It also states on the side of the cerficate--Countersigned and Registered: Chartered Trust Company, Montreal Toronto and signed by Transfer Agent and Registrar Authorized officer.
Can you please let me know if you are familiar with these stocks and I would appreciate any assistance you can give me to determine if there is any value to these shares.
Thank you so much for your time and help.
Blanche

Answer
Unfortunately, from the information I have available, it appears the shares have no current value. The Company went through numerous name changes and at least one reverse split before becoming Fabien Explorations. Fabien was cease-traded in 1984, and that government order remains in effect today.
