I purchased several thousand shares of Headwater Mines Ltd in February 1957 from Nation Wide Securities Ltd in Toronto, Ontario.  I moved to the US in 1963 at which time  Martell Investment Corp was acting as agent in the distribution of treasury shares of Headwater. Martell was not a member of the TSE but was a member of the Broker-Dealer Association of Ontario.  I recently found my certificates and wonder if you can obtain any info on Headwater please.  Many thanks

From the information I have available, the shares have no value. Headwater had its charter cancelled in 1977, which is what happens when a company fails to file its required regulatory information for several years in a row (and pay its fees and taxes), usually because they are already out of business.
