My greatgrandfather has shares in this company.  How would I go about finding anything about it.  I want to know if this company is still around or if it is done.  I am so curious to know if it would be worth anything.

Unfortunately, I have no information on that company. Since it was held by your Great Grandfather, it probably is very old and pre-dates most of the information I have available.

If there is a transfer agent listed on the certificate, I would contact them first, as they will know if there is value. You could also try contacting the Province of Incorporation (listed on the certificate) and see what information they have available. Or, take the certificate to a broker and see if they can find any information.
