My father left the following stocks. Are the companies still in existence?
Key Lake Explorations ltd
New Algers Mines Ltd.
Central Manitoba mines ltd
Jelex Mines Ltd.
Base Metals Mining Corporation Ltd

From the information I have available:

Jelex and Key Lake are the same - Jelex reverse split and changed its name to Key Lake in the 1970's. I don't know what ultimately happened to the company, however.

No information on New Algers.

Central Manitoba did a reverse split to consolidated Manitoba, but the company was later dissolved without value to shareholders.

Base Metals was dissolved in 1980 without value to shareholders.

I suggest you should contact a broker to see if they can confirm the above information and perform more detailed searches on the companies on which I have no information.
