Question
I found some certificates for 200 shares my parents purchased in 1982 with E A. Manning Limited for a company called Prime State Resources Ltd.  how do find out if these shares are of any value?  The stocks are for Oil and Gas.  One is for Conisil Mines Ltd. and the other is Prime State Resources Ltd.

Answer
Unfortunately, I have no information on Prime State at all. If there is a transfer agent listed on the certificate, you need to contact them as they will know if the shares have any value.

Conisil went through several name changes and became IBI Corp. IBI trades on the TSX Venture for about 1 cent per share. You need to contact IBI's transfer agent, Equity Transfer at www.equitytransfer.com.
