My husband purchased a relatively small amount of shares for Thor Resources Inc. in Jan. 1983. Is there any current value on these shares? They were purchased through Young & Rowsell Securities in Toronto.

Unfortunately, I have no information on Thor Resources. If there is a transfer agent listed on the certificate, I would contact them first, as they will know if your certificate has any current value. If not, you can try contacting the Province of Incorporation (listed on the certificate) to see what information they have available. Or, you could contact a broker and ask them to perform a more detailed search for you.
