Question
My dad left shares in Southern Eagle Petroleum Inc. and Railhead Resources Inc.  Wondering if you had any information on them or if they happen to be worth anything.

Answer
Greg, I have been asked about both of those companies several times, which unfortunately suggests there are a lot of certificates floating around out there.

From the information I have available, Southern Eagle went through 8 or 9 name changes, mergers, reverse splits, etc. It most recently was Genterra, which was supposed to merge again this month. I suggest you contact Genterra's transfer agent, Computershare (www.computershare.com) and see if they have your father on the current shareholder list.

Railhead also went through reverse splits and name changes and became Calderone Corp. I don't believe Calderone ever began trading in Canada but did trade briefly in the US before going inactive in 2000. I don't have any indication that it resumed trading or changed names, but it might have. You should check with a broker to see if they have any additional information.
