Hello,
In 1991 I purchased three hundred shares of Bestquipt Sports through AC MacPherson. Just wondering if by chance they are still valid? I'm sure they are not as I cannot find any information on eitehr AC or Bestquipt.

Mary, AC was one of the notorious Ontario Penny Stock dealers that, after a long fight, were finally shut down and put out of business by the Ontario Securities Commission for sales abuses and, for some, rigging stocks.

Bestquip did a 1 for 4 reverse split and became Big Hammer Group. Big Hammer stopped filing its required financial and regulatory information in 2001 and was hit with a Cease-Trade Order by Ontario. Since that order remains in effect, and they have not resumed filing anything, it seems unlikely it ever will be resurrected and resume trading.
