I have recently inherited common shares in "Chibougamau Jaculet Mines Limited", they are dated Aug. 13, 1956.I have checked the exchanges without success. I presume the company is defunct, but thought I should check before I discard them. Thanks, Dick

From the information I have available, the company went through two name changes and two reverse stock splits (a 1 for 5, then a 1 for 6.5) and became Patino Mining. The company was acquired in 1971 by a Netherlands company, Patino N.V. I have no information on that company at all.

Because of the foreign nature of the acquiring company, I suggest you contact a broker to see if they can perform a more detailed search for you.
