Question
I have shares of Colony Pacific, Mahogany Minerals, and Golden Zone that I bought in 1984.  What happened to these companies, and are these shares worth anything now?

Answer
From the information I have available:

Colony Pacific became Zed.i Solutions on the basis of 0.342 Zed.i shares for each Colony share. Zed.i trades on the TSX Venture Exchange for about 37 cents per share. The current transfer agent is Valiant Trust - you need to contact them (www.valianttrust.com) to get your old shares reorganized into the new shares.

Mahogony did a 1 for 2 reverse and became International Mahogany. After a 1 for 10 reverse and 2 name changes, it became Esperanza Silver. Esperanza is a reporting Company with the SEC and trades for about US$1.06 per share. You can see its filings on EDGAR at www.sec.gov. The current transfer agent is Computershare (www.computershare.com). You need to contact them about the reorganization of your old shares.

For Golden Zone, there were several companies by that name around that time. I would need the full name of the company and the Province of Incorporation to research it in more detail.
