Canadian Stocks/Pipestone Bay Resources Ltd
Expert: Steven Taylor - 12/4/2009
QuestionHi, I have some Pipestone Bay Resources Ltd stocks that were sold by Durham Securities Corp in 1983. Just wondering if they are worth anything. Thanks
AnswerLynn, from the information I have available, there might be some current value. Pipestone went through several name changes and big reverse stock splits (a 1 for 3, then a 1 for 10, then another 1 for 10) and became Skor Food. Skor trades on the TSX Venture for about 27 cents per share.
Unfortunately, because of the big reverse splits, every 300 Pipestone shares is only 1 share of Skor. Unless you had tens of thousands of shares of Pipestone, you likely have very little Skor. You need to contact Skor's transfer agent, Equity Transfer (www.equitytransfer.com0 for them to tell you exactly how much Skor you currently own.
