Question
I have some share certificates for both Stockgold Resources Inc and The Lithium Corporation of Canada - both dated 1987.

Are these shares worth anything?

Unfortunately, from the information I have available, the shares have no value. Stockgold and Lithium Corp actually merged and became Rusty Lake Resources. Rusty Lake later became Seven Seas Petroleum, which was a high-flyer for awhile, but later crashed and went bankrupt. Common shareholders received nothing.
