Question
Just found some stock certificates for Tejas Petroleum Resources Ltd. in my recently deceased fathers paper work.  Are they worthless penny stock or does the company really exist.  If they do exist can you advise the exchange they trade on?  Thank you.

Answer
Susan, from the information I have available, the company did a 1 for 2.5 reverse split and became Continental Conquest Capital in the late 1990's. I have no additional information after that.

If there is a transfer agent listed on the certificate, I would contact them first. You could also contact the Province of Incorporation and see if they have any information on the company, or take the certificate to a broker and ask if they can perform a more detailed search for you.
