Question
I held stocks for the following companies, Bahn Foods inc and CDN Entech Research Corp. thru the Brokerage CM OLiver. I only have my statements not the certificates how do I research and obtain certificates. Probably worthless now or was then.

From the information I have available,

Bahn has no current value. They did a 1 for 10 reverse split and became Consolidated Bahn, which was delisted in 2001 for failure to file its financial statements. There were also cease-trade orders issued at that time, and those remain in effect, which makes it unlikely the shares will ever return to trading.

Canadian Entech went through numerous name changes and at least 2 reverse splits - a 1 for 5, then a 1 for 10. It is now Tri-River Ventures, which trades on the TSX Venture for about 27 cents per share. You need to contact Computershare (www.computershare.com), the current transfer agent, about obtaining current certificates.
