still trying to locate stock atco industries the
cusip number 046787107 could you tell what exchange
it is traded on and does it go under a diff symbol
than atco can not get under atco

ATCO Industries became ATCO Ltd in 1978. ATCO Ltd. has several classes of shares, and I am not sure how the old ATCO Industries shares correspond to the current share structure. Right now, the shares trade for about $36 a share on the TSX. However, the company also pays very rich dividends, so if you have a valid certificate, you should be entitled to quite a lot of back dividends.

You need to contact ATCO's transfer agent and determine if your old certificate is valid and, if so, how best to convert it to the current ATCO shares and how to obtain any back dividends due. The agent is listed at CIBC Mellon, and you can find them on the web at www.cibcmellon.com.
