I have certificates for Maverick Uranium Exploration(300 shares) and Silmil Explorations Inc. (500 shares) both sold by Norwich Investments... are they worth anything...Thanks,

From the information I have available, Maverick changed names several times and did at least one reverse split (1 1 for 10) and eventually became Bekeen Computer Corp. I don't know what became of Bekeen, but Ontario slapped them with a cease-trade order in 1991, and I believe Quebec did the same. That order remains in effect today, which suggest the company never filed any of its past or current regulatory filings.

The Silmil went through numerous name changes as well, and at least 1 reverse split (a 1 new for 4 old). I believe it became Advantex Marketing, which is still around, but just barely. It trades for about 1 cent on the TSX.

I suggest you should contact a broker who can confirm this information for you.
