Question
I bought stock in ZYNEX Corporation in 1991 from E.A. Manning Limited. Do you know where I can find E.A. Manning today or the Zynex Corporation also referred to as Zynex Systems Inc. of Markham, Ontario

Answer
Timothy, E.A. Manning is long out of business. The Ontario Securities Commission had been trying to shut them, and the rest of the Ontario Penny Stock Dealers, out of the business for years for defrauding customers. The government finally succeeded in the mid-to-late 1990's of purging the business of these operators.

From the information I have available, Zynex went through several name changes and reverse stock splits (and one bankruptcy) and finally emerged as Peak Gold. Peak went through a merger with several other gold companies and is now New Gold Inc. New Gold trades on the TSX and NYSE Amex under the symbol NGD. It currently trades for about $2.20 a share.

Unfortunately, because of the reverse stock splits, the amount of New Gold you would have today would be significantly less than the amount of Zynex you started with. There was a 1 for 11 reverse, followed by a 1 for 3, then the Peak Gold amalgamation was a 1 for 10. So, for every 1000 shares of Zynex, you would now have about 3 shares of New Gold.

I suggest you contact New Gold's Transfer Agent, Computershare, at www.computershare.com. They can confirm the above information and give you a valuation on your Zynex shares and see if it is worthwhile to reorganize them into the New Gold shares.
