Question
My grandfather who recently passed away had bought shares in several gold mines. I have no idea if they are worth anything or how to contact the company to advise of his passing away. He invested in Faldo Mines & Energy;brunex Gold Resources and Cobrun Mining Corp.
Any suggestions in how to proceed are greatly appreciated.

Answer
Chelsea, from the information I have available, it appears none of those shares have any current value.

Faldo did a 1 for 3 reverse split and eventually became NSI Global. NSI was cease-traded and delisted in 2003.

Brunex became Online Direct after a 0.042 for 1 amalgamation. The stock was cease-traded and delisted in 2002.

Cobrun was cease-traded in 2002.

It appears all the cease-trade orders currently remain in effect. I suggest you contact a broker to confirm this information.
