Did you ever find out about these stocks.  My grandfather also had these stocks in his possessions, when he passed.  We haven't quite figured out what to do with them.

Karen, I have no information on Whitegate Mines, but if the Company is Whitegate Mining Company Ltd, incorporated in Ontario, it appears there is no value. The Company's charter was cancelled in the 1970's, which suggests they went out of business and left nothing of value for shareholders.
