Question
looking for some info/ value on some old shares of my grandfathers. Consolidated Red Poplar Minerals Limited
countersigned by Crown Trust Company and Allied Toys & Enterprises limited, countersigned by Guaranty Trust company.

Answer
Ken, unfortunately, I have little information on either Company. I have no information at all on Allied Toys. Consolidated Red Poplar did a 1 for 5 reverse split and became New Dimension Resources Ltd. There is currently a New Dimension Resources Ltd. trading in Canada, but it does not appear to be the same company. The current one took that name last year, and can trace its history back to a New Dimension Technologies which was first listed in 1988. The old New Dimension Resources took the name in 1971 after the reverse split, then later reincorporated in Wyoming in 1983, which suggests they left Canada and began trading in the US. I don't have any information on old US companies.

Usually in these cases you should contact the Transfer Agents first, but both agents you listed are gone. You could try contacting the Province of Incorporation for each (or, in the case of New Dimension, the State of Wyoming) and see what information they have available. However, you will probably find the most information if you contact a broker and see what information they can find after performing a more detailed search for you.
