I have 2 stock certificates # 22683 and 17237 for banner reseources ltd transfer agent is guaranty trust comany of Canada. Are these still valid?

Unfortunately, from the information I have available, it appears the shares have no value. The company went through several name changes and reverse stock splits (a 1 for 10, a 1 for 2, and a 3 for 10) and became Abacan Resource Corp. Abacan went bankrupt, was cease-traded and then delisted in 2000. I do not believe there was any value remaining for shareholders.
