Going thru my late husband's paperwork I found 2 stock certificates for shares in this company dating back to 1967.  Could you give me some background info on this company and if it is still around?  Thank you for your time and assistance, it is much appreciated.

Unfortunately, from the information I have available, it appears the shares have no value. Drope Lake changed its name to Drope Lake Metals & Holdings, which later had its charter cancelled in 1980. That happens when a company fails to file its required regulatory paperwork for several years (or pay its incorporation fees) which is usually due to the company being out of business.
