Question
I have approximately 500 share certificates for Inel Resources Limited
purchased in the UK in the 1980's. They show Guaranty Trust Company of
Canada (Vancouver) on them.

Are they worth anything?

Answer
Gary, from the information I have available, it appears the shares have no current value.

Inel amalgamated into Gulf International Minerals in 1990 on the basis of 1 Gulf share for every 2.5 Inel shares. Gulf was a UK based company that ran into trouble obtaining their exploration permits in Tajikistan around 2005. The TSX delisted the company and they were cease-traded by several Provinces for failure to file regulatory information in 2006. Nothing has been heard from them since.

The last known contact information for the Company was London -

Transfer agent was Computershare (www.computershare.com). You could try contacting the Company and/or the agent and see if there is any news on possible reactivation.
