Question
An elderly gentleman came across some old shares while cleaning his drawers and asked if these shares are still good and if so where he could sell them.  The shares are from International Bornite Mines Ltd (N.P.L.) Giles and Company and are dated May 13, 1971. Thank you for your help.

Unfortunately, from the information I have available, it appears the shares have no value. The Company had its charter cancelled by British Columbia in 1976. That happens when a company fails to file its required regulatory paperwork (and pay its incorporation fees) for several years running.
