A friend of mine has a capital stock certificate [from his grandfather's estate] for 100 shares from Camsell River Silver Mines Limited, dated 25 Mar 1948.  He asked me to see if I could find out if the certificate has any value.  Your help would be appreciated in any way.  Thanks much!

Diana, the only information I have is for a Camsell River Mines Limited that had its charter cancelled in 1956. It is likely the company is the same as the one you are looking for, but not necessarily. I suggest your friend contact a broker and see if they can perform a more detailed search for them.
