Question
My father recently passed away and I found the following stock certificates and was wondering if they have any value;

Woodway Resources Limited
Majesty Resources Limited
Jedburgh Resources Limited

Answer
Steve, these companies were all very small and obscure, so it was difficult to get a line on them. But, from the information I have available, this is what I found.

Woodway changed its name to Bridge Integrated Technologies, which was later cease-traded in 1992, and that order remains in effect. I cannot find any information that it changed its name or resumed trading anywhere.

Majesty was delisted and cease-traded in 1991. Same as above - I cannot find any evidence of further changes.

Jedburgh did a 1 for 6 reverse stock split and became OTI Tech. OTI was cease-traded in 1987, and same as above - cannot find any references to any changes since.

If there are transfer agents listed on the certificates, you can contact them for more information. Or the Province of Incorporation and see what they have on file. Or, you could try a broker and see if they can perform a more detailed search for you.
