Question
My father died. He had a certificate of 100 shares from Roberval Mining Corporation, bought in June 1958. It's written on it: No.M0350, Incorporated under The Quebec Mining Companies' Act, Not subject to call, No personal liability. Countersigned and registered: Guaranty Trust Company of Canada, Montreal. There's also a document: Account with Joliet Securities Ltd., 400 St.James St. West, Montreal, room 301.

Answer
Unfortunately, from the information I have available, it appears the shares have no value. The Company had its charter cancelled in 1973, and that happens when a company does not file the required regulatory paperwork (and pay the incorporation fees) for several years running.
