I just received a notification of a $50000.00 US award from
the Prudential Trust, Inc. Company on Queen Street Toronto, ON. Canada. Is this a legitimate company ?

No - its most likely a scam. Let me guess - they want you to send them money for fees and/or taxes before they send you the "award"? This is a common scam and numerous government agencies are doing all they can to warn people about them.
