Question
I have a photo-copy of a common shares certificate.............**220** shares  dated Feb 17,1987,,,  The certificate number is CB84375...fullypaid and non assessable common shares without nominal or par value of the capital stock of TURBO RESOURCES LIMITED..   Do you have any information on the value of them today??? or where they can be taken to..............Thank-you,   have a great day

Answer
Gord, Turbo did a 1 for 10 reverse stock split and became Canadian Turbo. Canadian Turbo was acquired by a Numbered Company in 1992 for $3.96 cash per share.

Taking into account the reverse, assuming the certificate is valid there should be $87.12 out there somewhere. Chances are it was turned over to the government for safekeeping. You need to search each lost property office for each State or Province in which the owner lived from the time of the original purchase until the buyout. Many can be searched for free online at http://www.missingmoney.com/ or www.naupa.org
