Question
Hello Mr. Taylor
I have just found 2 old stock certificates that my father bought in 1950:
1) Laurentide (Chibougamau) Mines Ltd - (tried to attach a PDF scan with details but would not "set"???)

2) Glencona Mining Company Limited

Can you please tell me if these have any value today, is the name the same or changed and, if yes, how do I proceed?

Your asistance would be appreciated.

Thank you

Answer
Unfortunately, I have nothing on Laurentide Chibougamau Mines. For Glencona, the company was dissolved and there was no value for common shareholders.

For the Laurentide, I suggest you contact a broker and see if they can perform a more detailed search for you.
