Question
I have a stock certificate of 25 shares from the Prudential Consolidated Mines in Canada. It dates back to the twenties 1926.
Is there any value in this or is it worthless?

Thanks Brian K. Eastman

Answer
Unfortunately, that certificate pre-dates most of the information I have available. You can contact the Province of Incorporation for the company (listed on the certificate) and see what information they have available, or you can contact a broker and see if they can perform a more detailed search for you. Certificates that old are difficult to track down, as so many were created during the post-WWI boom and died during the Depression, many very quietly and without much notice.
