Dear Mr. Taylor,
I have found a stock statement for 250 shares, which was in some papers that my deceased father had. The company that sold the stock is Chaplin Securities in Toronto.  Could you please advise me of the statis of these stocks.  Thank you.

Unfortunately, from the information I have available, it appears those shares have no value. The Company had its charter cancelled in the 1950's, which is what happens when a company fails to file its required regulatory documents (or pay its fees and taxes) for several years in a row, which is usually due to the company already being out of business.
