Question
I have certificates for 600 shares of New Frontier Petroleum that I purchased in 1984.  I can't find any information on the company anywhere on the web. Is it worth keeping these certificates?  Thanks for your help.

Answer
Unfortunately, I don't believe the shares have any value. In 1985, the Company did a 1 for 5 reverse split and became Petromac. Almost immediately, their operating subsidiary went bankrupt and the company was suspended, cease-traded, and delisted shortly thereafter. Since the cease-trade orders remain in effect, I don't believe the company ever emerged from their problems.
