Question
Hello

I'm looking for any information regarding a company that did business out of Edmonton, AB, Canada in 1929 when the stock certificates were issued. The company was called " Petroleum Royalties Limited". Is this stock worth anything now? Is this company still around today or thru another affiliate?

Thank you very much.

Ken

Answer
Ken, from the information I have available, and assuming it is the correct company, it appears there is no current value. Petroleum Royalties was acquired in the 1980's by East Coast Energy. East Coast was struck from the Corporate Register in 1992 - when companies are struck or cancelled, it is usually because they fail to file the required regulatory documents (and pay the fees and taxes) for several years in a row, which is often because the company is already out of business.
