I'm executor of my Mother's estate and have found a stock certificate for 100 shares of Jaycopters(Recreation)Ltd. purchased in Edmonton, Alberta dated July 6, 1965. Guaranty Trust Company of Canada. Any help to find out if this is of any value is much appreciated.

Unfortunately, I cannot find any specific information on the ultimate fate of Jaycopters, but if I remember correctly, they went bust after its helicopter training product idea went nowhere. I suggest you take the certificates to a broker and ask them to perform a more detailed search and see what they can find.
