Question
I have in hand a certificate for 300 shares of Taurus Footwear Inc. dated march 1991.
Do they have any market value?

Unfortunately, from the information I have available, the shares appear to have no value. The Company ran into serious financial trouble in 1991, and they informed common shareholders they should expect no value to their certificates. In 1992, the shares were suspended, delisted and cease-traded. The cease-trade orders remain in effect, and I don't believe they were able to salvage the company as its debts substantially outweighed its assets.
