My father held stocks with Transcona Securities Limited out of Vancouver.  He had 200 shares of Salem Resources Limited #0632.  Is there any way to find out if they still hold value?

Unfortunately, from the information I have available, the shares have no current value. Salem Resources had its charter cancelled in 1979, which is what happens when a company fails to file its required regulatory documents (and pay its fees and taxes) for several years in a row, which is usually because the company is already out of business.
