Question
My father found several certificates for shares in Rouyn Reward gold mines from the 1930s. Also certificates for Kir - Wit Mines
in the 1930s as well. And another for Keystone porcupine Gold mines. Are they worth anything?

Answer
Unfortunately, I don't have much information on those 3 companies, as they predate most of the information I have available. I do have some information on Rouyn Reward - it was dissolved in the 1950's, and there was no value for shareholders.

For the others, the best way to track old shares is through the transfer agent. However, considering the age of these shares, I doubt that is an option here. Therefore, you could try contacting the Province of Incorporation (listed on the certificate) and see what information they have available. Or, you can take the certificates to a broker and ask them to perform a more detailed search and see what information they can find.
