Question
My father left me shares in Trend Exploration and Development Limited, countersigned and registered by Crown Trust Company, Toronto, dated February 6, 1964.  I am anxious to know if they have value and my next step to follow.
Thank you for any help you can give me.
I unable to attach an image at this point.

Answer
Unfortunately, from the information I have available, the shares have no value. Trend had its Charter cancelled in May 1970. That occurs when a company fails to file its required regulatory documents (and pay its fees and taxes) for several years in a row, which is usually because the company is already out of business.
