I found 3 stock certificates of Nubell mines. Are they still in
business?

Unfortunately, from the information I have available, the shares have no value. The company had its charter cancelled in 1980, which is what happens when a company fails to file its required regulatory documentation (and pay its fees and taxes) for several years running.
