Hi Steven,

I own shares in Duvex Oils & Mines and Chibougamau Asbestos. What is the best way to determine the value (if any) of the shares?

Unfortunately, I have no information on the ultimate fate of either of those companies. If there is a transfer agent listed (on the certificate), I would contact them first, as they will know if your certificates have any value. You could also contact the Province of Incorporation and see what information they have available. Or, contact a broker and see if they can perform a more detailed search for you.
