Canadian Stocks/Terramar Resource Corporation Bearer Bonds

Question
Hello,
I have Bearer Bonds from Terramar Resources Corporation from January 14, 1986. I was wondering if there was any value to them.
Thank you.

Answer
Ray, I highly doubt it. Terramar was a high-profile bust, and had serious financial trouble beginning in the 1980's. It was delisted by the Vancouver and Toronto Stock Exchanges in 1991. The stock was also cease-traded by Ontario and British Columbia, and those cease-trade orders remain in effect today. Since its California operations did not live up to the hype, I don't believe the company ever repaid any of its outstanding obligations before it went out of business. You can check with a broker and see if they can discover any additional information.
