My father in law had 5, 100 share document of Multi-Minerals Limited. My question is two fold, are they worth anything and if they are, where would one cash them in? Thank you in advance.

Dave, I have no information on the current status of the company, but I do see they were hit with a cease-trade order in 1980 which remains in effect.

If there is a transfer agent listed on the certificate, I would contact them first, as they will know if the shares have any current value. If not, you can try the Province of Incorporation (also listed on the certificate) and see what information they have available. Or, you could take the certificate to a broker and see if they can perform a more detailed search for you.
