I have the following shares purchased by my Grandfather in 1929 and 1934.
Beaver Mountain Copper Mines Limited- Registrar-Trusts and Guarantee Co. Toronto (1929)
Vimy Gold Mine Limited-Registrar- Capital Trust Corp. (1934)

Sandra, from the information I have available:

Vimy had its charter cancelled and there was no value for shareholders.

I have no information on Beaver Mountain, although it predates most of the information I have available. Considering the great age of the certificate, I think your best approach would be to contact a broker and see if they can perform a more detailed search for you.
