Question
I have 2 Tejas Petroleum Resources Ltd. certificates for a total of 800 Shares, purchased in 1984 through E A Manning. This company was sold to THE STREETWEAR COPRORATION, Markham, Ontario, Phone number . No one there returned my message.
How can can I find out the value of the shares in order to cash them?

Unfortunately, I have no additional information. The Company did do a 1 for 2.5 reverse split and then changed names a second time to Streetwear Corporation. Streetwear has not filed any of its required financial or regulatory information since 2004. I suggest you contact the last known transfer agent, Equity Transfer (www.equitytransfer.com) and see what information they have. You can also contact Ontario as the Province of Incorporation and see if the Company is still registered. You can also contact a broker and see if they can perform a more detailed search for you.
