Question
Hello, I recently acquired a stock certificate for 10 shares of Ellesmere Oil and Development Limited issued in 1952. Is this an eBay item or does it have value beyond it's historical value? Thanking you in advance, Steve
Unfortunately, from the information I have available, it appears the shares have no current value. The Company was acquired by New Concord Development on the basis of 1 New Concord share for 3 Ellesmere shares. New Concord was dissolved in 1966, and I don't believe shareholders received any value.
