Question
I have wo certificates dated June 1967 and Jan 1967 from Mount Wright Iron Mines Co Ltd and would like to know if they are of any value, can you help?

Answer
From the information I have available, the stock went through numerous name changes and at least 1 reverse split (a 1 for 5) and became Videoflicks.com. Videoflicks went private in 2005, and shareholders received 2 cents per share.

If you did not receive your cash, it would have been turned over to the government for safekeeping. You need to search the missing property divisions of every State or Province in which you lived from the date you acquired the certificates until the buyout. You can search many of them online for free at www.missingmoney.com and www.naupa.org (search both). Search using your name exactly as it appears on the front of the certificate.
