Question
I've a certificate for Wild River Resources shares bought in
1994. I had always believed the stock was delisted soon
thereafter. Now, I've just noticed a Wild River Resources was
recently purchased by Crescent Point Energy. Could this be the
same company? Thanks in advance.

Answer
John, the Wild River that was acquired was Wild River Resources Ltd. Your old stock was Wild River Resources Inc. No relation between the two companies.

That is the bad news. The good news is that your old Wild River is still around. It went through 2 reverse splits (a 1 for 5, then a 1 for 4) and 2 name changes and is currently OSE Corp. OSE trades on the TSX Venture for about 3 cents per share. You will need to get your old certificate reorganized into the new shares by contacting the current transfer agent, Equity Transfer (www.equitytransfer.com).
