AnswerJohn, Gordon Daly was one of the notorious Ontario Penny Stock dealers that finally got thrown out of business. They really put one over on their clients by rigging many of the stocks they sold them.
Ross Island became Impact Capital, which became Polar Innovation Capital (1 for 4.9 reverse split), which then became Simplex (after a 1 for 7 reverse split). In 2007, Simplex was cease-traded by Ontario (which remains in effect), and then failed to file their required financial statements. That lead to them being delisted by the CNQ exchange.
The last listed address and contact for Simplex is:
3044 Bloor Street West
Suite 1402
Toronto, Ontario

Seafield has a long twisting road itself, but it is still around. It currently trades on the TSX Venture Exchange for about 21 cents per share. Seafield's contact information is listed as:
330 Bay Street
Suite 1208
Toronto, Ontario
M5H 2S8
